Where are you located?
All tours depart from the Binsfield Bayshore Park Marina in Munising, MI.
Public parking is available at the park.
Flyers should come halfway down the pier on the right to check in for their scheduled tour.
When are the trips?
Parasailing tours run from June 30th to September 16th.
11am - 1pm - 3pm - 5pm - 7pm
All times are subject to change or be canceled due to inclement weather. Please see our website or our Facebook page for more information.
How much does it cost?
Each tour can accommodate a total of six passengers so there is room for your whole crew! With our tandem or 3-passenger flights, you'll spend 10-12 minutes in the air!
The Pictured Rocks Sail is a 90-minute tour where we will sail through the beautiful Munising Bay and up the coastline. Then up you go to fly among the bald eagles and catch views of our magnificent rock formations including Indian Head, Bridalveil Falls, and Miners Castle on the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
Flyer tickets on this tour cost $99 each.
How does parasailing work?
You can sign up and reserve your adventure in advance here on the website. When it’s your time to hit the skies, you’ll head to the dock entrance to board and meet your parasailing team.
Once on board, our professional staff will gently set you aloft from the deck of our boat and let you experience the thrill of gliding above the pristine Munising Bay or along the magnificent Pictured Rocks National Shoreline.
Flight duration is 10-12 minutes, and when it’s time to come back down, you’ll be gently reeled into a soft landing on the boat deck right back where you started. If you want to get “dipped”, be sure to tell the crew. They’ll be more than happy to accommodate your request.
Who can parasail?
Anyone can parasail! Kids (age 8 and above), families, handicapped individuals (limited, please check with our staff before booking), even grandparents. Our insurance precludes people who are pregnant, have a heart condition or back pain, but if that’s not you, you’re good to go!
Our flights are tandem, and you must weigh at least 125 lbs. together. We can accommodate up to three people or 500 lbs. at once making a parasailing adventure great for parents and kids or groups of friends to share together.
Children between the ages of four and eight may not participate in flying but may ride with an adult flying passenger if Standby Rider spots are available.
Our tours are not suitable for children under the age of four.
Can friends and family watch?
We are happy to take non-flying passengers on Standby Only basis as our schedule allows.
Please understand that we are in the business of parasailing and as such flying passengers are our top priority.
If there is a spot available on the boat at time of departure, a Non-flying Passenger ticket costs $60.
What should I bring on board?
Cold water will be available with our compliments.
Items we recommend to bring with you are your ID, sunscreen, snacks and beverages.
It is very windy during parts of the ride, so our ladies with longer hair may want to bring a hair tie.
A zipper bag or small knapsack is helpful for keeping loose items secure, but please keep in mind that space on the boat is limited to what fits in your lap.
There will be Go Pro cameras available on board for an extra fee to capture your experience. When you're done snapping and recording, we'll simply pop out the SD card and it's yours to take!
We'll also have t-shirts for sale on the boat to remind you of your fantastic experience.
And of course, tips for our Captain and crew are always greatly appreciated.
Can I take a camera on my flight?
Of course! How better to document a memory of your flight than with some great aerial shots or video?
That being said, we are not responsible for lost or damaged cameras, phones or anything else you choose to take up in the air.
Don't want to risk it? Go Pro cameras are available for rent when you check into the boat!
What is the cancellation policy?
Advanced reservations that are canceled due to inclement weather can be rescheduled at any time. If rescheduling is not an option, we will happily issue a full refund.
To avoid missing out on your parasailing adventure, we recommend that you schedule early during your stay. Scheduling early is the best way to ensure you go home with those amazing memories and bragging rights.
If some other unfortunate reason comes up that causes you to cancel your trip, we kindly ask that you do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled time.
Voluntarily canceled trips with 48 hours notice will be refunded via the payment method on file.
Cancelations made without 48 hours advance notice or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
While tickets will be available for purchase in person at the marina, we highly recommend scheduling your trip here on the website. The tours will fill up fast, and this is the best way to ensure you don't miss out!
A name and digitally signed waiver will be required for each passenger at the time of ticket purchase.
Each passenger will need to show their ID and sign a waiver (if we don't have a signed digital waiver on file) upon check-in.
Children without identification must be accompanied by an adult who will sign in their place.
A copy of your digitally signed waiver will be emailed to you, and a hard copy of the waiver can be downloaded here.
